Many reasons caused us to walk away:

• We didn’t find friends in the church
• We didn’t value the friendship of church people
• We got into some bad habits and gradually fell away

Having been around and done our thing, we felt the tug to come back to God. So we did, and found that God immediately, warmly, and wholeheartedly accepted us.

The connection between you and God is a one-on-one connection. Our job is to just explain what we did to start the link with God, and how to keep it going privately.

You may remember that the basis of all contact with God is prayer. Anyone can pray – because it’s just conversation or talking to God, about real stuff and things.

So God, I’m here. I would like to reconnect with you. I’m willing to give it another try. Hope it’s OK with you.
